Jefferson County Executive Statement on Limited Public Access to County Offices

HILLSBORO, MISSOURI - County Executive Dennis Gannon announced today that effective Monday March 23, 2020, the County will limit public access to County offices. These changes will include the closure of all County offices to walk-in public access. Taxpayers who need in person assistance from the offices listed below should use the contact information provided to discuss with a staff member. Citizens who wish to vote or register as a candidate will still be allowed in the building, but may be required to undergo a temperature check and answer travel related questions for health purposes.

These preventive measures are being implemented in order to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. County Executive Gannon stated, "following the advice of the CDC and other health officials regarding the importance of practicing social distancing, limiting gatherings to no more than 10 individuals, and good hygiene are critical components in combating COVID-19."
