Nutrition Services

Many people have seen dietitians within the hospital setting, but what can a community dietitian do for you? We offer counseling regarding many nutrition topics, community programs and presentations, health fairs, and other events throughout the county. A dietitian has extensive education in nutrition, completion of a dietetic internship, and passed a registration examination to become RDs or RDNs (Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist).

Megan Linden, RD, LD

Megan graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dietetics and thereafter completed her Dietetic Internship through Southeast Missouri State University. She has gained experience working in the hospital setting as well as providing diabetes care for her cat that was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Megan enjoys being active and will be completing her 10th half marathon this year. She also believes in balance and treating herself to a good wood-fired pizza after a run. This is also the approach she likes to take with her clients – promoting overall wellness with a healthy balance of all food groups.
