Jefferson County Health Department Moves to Missouri Vaccine Navigator for Vaccine Clinics

Jefferson County Health Department will begin making COVID-19 vaccine clinic registration links open through the state system, Missouri Vaccine Navigator. Clinics scheduled for next week have been posted on the Navigator system and are open to all eligible Missourians.

Individuals interested in receiving the vaccine at a JCHD clinic need to register with Navigator first and then schedule an appointment. Registration can be completed online at https://covidvaccine.mo.gov/navigator/ or via phone by calling 877-435-8411.

Next week’s clinics are scheduled for the Festus Vaccination Clinic location at 1275 N Truman Blvd, Festus, MO 63028.

  • Tuesday, April 20- 9am-4pm, 1,000 doses of Moderna

  • Wednesday, April 21- 12pm-7pm, 1,000 doses of Moderna

Missouri Vaccine Navigator allows individuals to register for a vaccine and make their appointment on the same day from a list of available sites. Individuals may seek vaccination from their health care provider if offered or they can view mass vaccination events and other providers in their area.

“Missouri Navigator will provide a centralized registration system to make it simpler for individuals to schedule an appointment,” state Jefferson County Health Department Director, Kelley Vollmar. “Adopting the state system will ensure that all residents 16 and older have the opportunity to find a clinic for easy access to the vaccine that meets their needs.”
