Jefferson County Health Department updated their reports today to reflect three additional COVID-19 deaths. These updates bring the total of COVID-19 deaths in Jefferson County to 111.
Two of the three deaths reported were associated with long term care facilities, one was based in the community. The residents were:
- Female, 50’s
- Female, 60’s
- Male, 80’s
“It is heartbreaking to continue reporting COVID-19 deaths in our community, especially so close to the holidays,” states Jefferson County Health Department Director, Kelley Vollmar. “We urge the community to take preventative measures for the safety of themselves and their loved ones this holiday season.”
