CDC Week 41 Epidemiological Analysis: (from JCHD Epidemiologist, Sara Wilton)
This week the county remains in the RED/highest transmission level with a weekly case count of 411 confirmed and probable cases. Our weekly case count decreased 22.89% from week 40 to week 41. We reported 101 youth cases in week 41, accounting for 24.57% of all weekly cases. Our positivity rate has dropped to ORANGE status at 9.97%.
Our total percentage of vaccinated individuals is 42.84%. Of the 411 new cases, 78.3% were unvaccinated. This week, one of the graphs in the weekly vaccine report was replaced. Instead of showing a cumulative number of doses over time, the graph shows the daily number of doses administered and a 7- day average. In this chart you will now see how many of these were first/second doses and how many were third doses.
