Dennis Diehl, Chairman of the Jefferson County Health Center, has called a special meeting of its Board of Trustees for 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 29, 2021, in the Conference Room of the Jefferson County Health Department, 405 Main Street, Hillsboro, MO 63050, for the purpose of conducting part of the public hearing at which citizens may be heard on the proposed property tax rate to be set by the Board of Trustees of the Jefferson County Health Department for 2021. The proposed tax rates are set to produce the amount of revenue required from the property taxes as shown in the budget for the year 2021. The tax rates are expressed in cents for every $100 valuation. The Assessed Valuation, Proposed Tax Rate for 2021 and Amount of Revenue Budgeted is as indicated on the Notice of Public Hearing attached. After said hearing the Board will consider said budget for the year beginning January 1, 2021 and said tax rate for approval.
