Back to School Immunizations- Extended Hours in Hillsboro

Jefferson County Health Department will be offering extended hours for back to school immunizations and school physicals in order to increase access for working parents this summer.

The mobile Wellness Van will be at the Arnold location of the Jefferson County Health Department on July 25th from 3:00pm - 7:00 pm and the Hillsboro location of the Jefferson County Health Department on July 26th from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The Wellness Van will be offering school physicals. The office will remain open at this time to offer back to school immunizations.

The cost of the physical is $25 but your child may qualify for a physical at no charge.

A parent or legal guardian must accompany their child to this clinic in order to complete needed paperwork and consents. Students aged 18 years of age or older do not need to have a parent or guardian present, but will need to be able to answer pertinent health history questions needed to complete a physical.

Please bring a copy of your child’s most recent shot record and insurance information, if covered. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred as appointments are served first.
