Onsite Wastewater Treatment Funding Assistance
ONSITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT FUNDING ASSISTANCE
We are pleased to provide information about a new loan program that makes funding assistance available to make repairs or improvements to onsite wastewater treatment systems. Funding is available to homeowners through MACOG, the Missouri Association of Councils of Government. The MACOG loan program is funded by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
Onsite Wastewater Loan program information is available online at http://www.macogonline.org/onsite/, including links to a brochure, fact sheet, and loan application. The brochure and factsheet describe eligible borrowers, eligible and ineligible activities, loan terms, homeowner responsibilities, and the documents required to apply. In addition, the nineteen (19) Missouri Regional Planning Commissions are listed.
This is a welcomed program that can offer help in dealing with some of the malfunctioning onsite wastewater treatment systems encountered by local onsite system authorities. Please contact your Regional Planning Commission, or contact the Onsite Wastewater Treatment Program if you have questions.
Other sources of limited funding may still be available in certain areas. Please also check:
