Flu Vaccine Available

   The Centers for Disease Control recommends that every one age 6 months and older receive the flu vaccine.

The health department has several types of vaccine. These include the Flu Mist, which is preservative free and is recommended for pregnant women and children younger than 3 years of age. The new high dose vaccine is also available and is recommended for  those who are 65 years of age and older.

Persons can come into the health department at any time during business hours, however appointments are preferred. The health department is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday through Thursday.  Feel free to call (636) 797-3737 or (636) 282-1010 during our regularly scheduled business hours to make an appointment or for more information.
