Important things to note:
A single inspection should not be used to evaluate a food establishment. Looking at the series of inspections over time gives a more accurate picture of the food establishment's commitment to food safety and sanitation.
This database only lists CRITICAL violations, therefore it may appear that a restaurant has not been inspected recently. Restaurants are inspected on a routine basis and if only non-critical violations were found (or none at all), a recent report will not be available for that particular inspection date through this database. Full inspection reports are available, please contact us for more details.
Anytime a restaurant is found to pose an imminent threat to the public health it is closed. This is a rare occurrence. Nonetheless, no establishment that does pose such a threat would be allowed to continue operations until all problems that were identified had been corrected.
Restaurant inspections are a tool to help your health department communicate with owners and managers of food establishments. They are in the business of serving the public and are as concerned with food safety and sanitation as we are. We work in a spirit of consultation and partnership so that together we can assure a safe and healthy dining experience.
