Our office conducts investigations of food borne illnesses. We take food borne illnesses very seriously and begin an environmental investigation of any Jefferson County food service establishment implicated in a food borne illness as rapidly as possible. We conduct our investigations with a focus on determination of the cause or source of a food borne illness and to prevent further illnesses.
