Important things to note:
Inspections are available by law for public review. The Health Department is required to provide these inspections for a period of three years from the date of the inspection.
A single inspection should not be used to evaluate a food establishment. Looking at the series of inspections over time gives a more accurate picture of the food establishment's commitment to food safety and sanitation.
This database lists all violations and inspection comments. Restaurants are inspected on a routine basis if no violations are found and no comments are posted, a recent report will not be available for that particular inspection date through this database. Full inspection reports are available, please contact us at (636) 797-3737, for more details.
Critical Item violations are denoted by an ( * ). Critical Item violations are serious violations and are a focus of the inspection for correction. They may be corrected at the time of the inspection or may require a reinspection depending on the nature of the violation.
Anytime a restaurant is found to pose an imminent threat to the public health it is closed. This is a rare occurrence. Nonetheless, no establishment that does pose such a threat would be allowed to continue operations until all problems that were identified had been corrected.
Restaurant inspections are a tool to help your health department communicate with owners and managers of food establishments. They are in the business of serving the public and are as concerned with food safety and sanitation as we are. We work in a spirit of consultation and partnership so that together we can assure a safe and healthy dining experience.
