Family Planning

What is it?
A confidential clinic for those who are in need of annual pap smears and birth control.

Who can come?
Anyone. We will see anyone who lives in the United States whether they are insured or uninsured.

Services provided?
We have a certified nurse practitioner that performs a breast exam, pelvic exam, pap smear to screen for cervical cancer and STD testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV, HPV and herpes. The Gardasil vaccination is also available.

We are able to treat STD’s of clients and partners and provide education and counseling to prevent further infections. We also offer colposcopies, cryo surgery, and LEEP  if needed should the pap smear be abnormal.

When is the clinic?
Jefferson County has two sites currently available to the public:

Family Planning Clinic:
Clinic patients will be seen by appointment only.

Hillsboro – Mondays and Wednesdays 
Arnold - Tuesdays and Thursdays

We will try to offer supply visits for family planning clients Monday through Thursday in each office.  You do need an appointment for this clinic so please call today and schedule.
