Mobile food establishments are establishments that set up for temporary functions, usually temporary food events but can set up in areas of the county to operate for short periods of time. They may set up for a day or for weeks on a single location. They are required to have essentially the same equipment that a permanent restaurant facility has but are able to move around to set up to sell food. They are capable of transporting the food, water and other supplies that they need. They are also able to transport the waste they generate away to an approved disposal site. Mobile units can not set up permanently in a location. They must break down their operation to dispose of waste and resupply.
